Call for applications - 2nd edition of the local workshops
The objective of this call for applications is to select 225 young people to invite them to participate in awareness-raising and initiation sessions on social entrepreneurship and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)s.
The workshops will be organized in February-March 2023, face-to-face or remotely depending, by each incubators/accelerators of the Safir program. At the end of these workshops, the youth will be oriented towards other support programs in the region.
Who can apply ?
- You are between 18 and 30 years old,
- You are from one of the following 9 countries: Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Syria, Palestine, Tunisia;
- You are currently staying in one of the 7 following countries : Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Tunisia;
- You are planning to embark on a project with a social and / or environmental impact, and wish to be trained on social entrepreneurship, the Social Economy and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) ?
Selection criteria
The candidates will be selected according to the above criteria but mostly on their demonstrated interest for social entrepreneurship, advocacy in favor of SDGs and their motivation to join the Safir project.
Themes of the workshops :
Introduction: Presentation of the Safir program (social entrepreneurship, advocacy, support programmes available for youth etc.)
Workshop 1: Introduction to social entrepreneurship
Workshop 2: Introduction to sustainable development goals (SDGs)
Workshop 3: Introduction to Project Incubation (Social BMC )
Workshop 4: Pitching your project (introductory pitch session)
